We were in Arkansas for Xmas, and it was fun. Our niece, Abigail, is 20 months old, and she is full of energy. She runs around, throws some fits, and then crashes. She sure makes it difficult to take pictures of her.
We still have a Xmas celebration in Wisconsin in a couple weeks.
PS. January 1st, I will be posting our 2014 resolutions.

Secret Xmas Gifts
If you follow me on Twitter (@strongbasil) or Instagram (@strongbasil), you already know, but this year I decided to buy Nick a secret Christmas gift. I had been working on some prints for both of us, and had them printed from uprinting.com
Nick, of course, got the zoom-in razorback, and I got the Lambeau Field print for myself. Nick liked his secret present, so maybe I'll plan another one next year.
This week we are traveling to Arkansas to spend the Holidays with Nick's family.

Kitchen Coming Together
Since the most of the cabinets arrived a couple weeks ago (the missing pieces are arriving today), I have been able to envision it all. Take a look:
The doors and pulls are from Ikea, the stainless steel backsplash is from Aspect via Home Depot.
The large paint chip is Antique Leather, which will be the wall color. The small paint chip is Fedora, which will be accent color for doors.
It's really starting to come together!

Pinning and Pining: December Wish List Edition
This month is all about the
holidays. I miss snow living in Florida, but I try to get into the
holiday spirit with a Christmas tree, and cooking.
Pinning:
I made this last year, and it
was delicious! I plan on making this every year.
This is my most repinned and liked
pin on Pinterest. I found this years ago, and finally pinned it last
year.
Pining:
Nick and I don't usually exchange
gifts. We agree to buy things we've really wanted and call them
"Christmas gifts". This year Nick bought a Xbox One, and a new
electric razor. I bought some Packer items, and tickets to see NHL game
(Avalanche @ Lightning). I have lots of things I'm interested in
though. Below is my wish list of things I've been pining for, in no
particular order:
Jewelry:
Accessories:
Bath and Body:
Home:
Kitchen:
Books:
Sports:
These are just a sampling of things
I'd like to have, but of course don't need. All I really need, I
have. And I'm grateful to be in a place in my life where I have the
opportunity to get the things I want, and not have to decide which need is more
important. A sentiment I hope all of us remember this holiday season.
