Moving Process

Moving is no fun for me.  This is how our apartment looks right now.  It's a mess.  The dining room is now a storage room, while we box things up.   

 

We are waiting for the appraisal to come back, so we can hire an inspector.  We're still hoping to be closing the first full week of September, after we come back from our visit to Wisconsin.

Lender Appraising

Our lender is appraising the home this week.  If it meets FHA requirements, then we will be hiring an inspector. 

We have already started packing up things that won't be needed for about a month or so.  More packing this weekend.

We're under contract!

Yesterday, Nick and I signed the contract for the house.  We have sent our info to the broker, and will wait to have a lender appraise the house.  Once the appraisal is done we will have it inspected, and be ready to sign if all is good.  Fingers crossed.

Welcome to Zoo View Home!

Nick and I are in the process of buying a house just blocks from the zoo.  We will use this website to keep friends and family up to date with doings around the house, and in our life.  
We are a week away from being under contract on a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 1500 sq ft home.  Once we get going on projects, I will try to update as much as I can.
